Yes, our plugins are compatible with WordPress multisite.
You can use the plugin on a multisite network, but the number of license activations you need depends on how many live sites in the network use the premium version of the plugin.
How many license activations do I need?
Each live subsite where you use the premium plugin counts as one license activation.
For example:
- If your multisite has 5 subsites and you use the plugin on all of them, you need a license plan that supports 5 sites.
- If your multisite has 10 subsites but you use the plugin only on 1 subsite, you only need 1 license activation.
- If you use the free version, no license activation is required.
You need to activate your license key on each live subsite where you want to use the premium version and receive plugin updates.
Do I need to network activate the plugin?
Yes. On WordPress multisite, the plugin needs to be network activated.
This makes the plugin available across your multisite network and allows updates to be handled correctly from the main network admin area.
You will still need to enter and activate your license key on each subsite where you want to use the premium version of the plugin.

Do staging, test, or local sites count?
No, staging, test, and local development sites usually do not count toward your live site activation limit.
However, you still need to activate your license key on these sites if you want to use the premium version of the plugin and receive plugin updates there.

How to update the plugin on WordPress multisite
Updating the plugin on WordPress multisite works almost the same way as a standard plugin update.
You can follow the regular update instructions described here: How to update plugin.
The only difference is that on multisite, you need to update the plugin from the main multisite network admin area. Once the plugin is updated there, all child sites in the multisite network will receive the new plugin version automatically.
