Hi, I'm Michael (@mikhail_b_) - the developer behind Advanced Woo Search and Advanced Woo Labels. I launched Advanced Woo Search back in 2017 and Advanced Woo Labels in 2020, and I've spent the years since building, supporting, and improving both for tens of thousands of WooCommerce stores.
Over time, the two plugins grew into a real full-time business - but they still lived on separate sites with separate identities, as if they were unrelated side projects. So I decided to bring everything together under one roof. From now on, Advanced Woo Search and Advanced Woo Labels live at KramaKit - a single brand, a single home, and a clearer path forward for the products you already rely on.
This post explains what's changing, what isn't, and where things are headed.
Short version: Advanced Woo Search and Advanced Woo Labels are now part of KramaKit. Same plugins, same license, same support - just a shared home and one brand. Nothing on your end needs to change.
What to expect if you're an existing user
Let's get the most important part out of the way first: if you already use Advanced Woo Search or Advanced Woo Labels, your experience stays exactly the same.
- Your license is fully valid. Nothing needs to be repurchased, re-registered, or migrated. It keeps working as it always has.
- Updates continue as normal. You'll receive the same updates, the same support, and the same plugins on the same schedule.
- Your sites are unaffected. There's no action required on your part. Installed plugins keep running without interruption.
- Support stays where it is. For now, support continues exactly as before on the existing plugin sites - advanced-woo-search.com and advanced-woo-labels.com. Nothing about how you get help changes today.
- The same person is still behind it. If you've ever emailed support, you've talked to me - and that doesn't change.
The only things that are new are the brand name and the website address. Same plugins, same quality, same support - just gathered under one name.
What KramaKit means
The name has roots worth explaining. It comes from two parts:
- Krama - a Slavic word meaning shop or store. It's Belarusian (крама), and also appears in Polish dialect and Ukrainian (крам, meaning wares). It reflects both my heritage and the audience these plugins serve: people running online stores.
- Kit - simply, a set of well-built tools.
Put together, KramaKit means "a kit of plugins for your store" - a krama stocked with tools that help WooCommerce shops run faster, look sharper, and convert better. You can read the full story on the About page.
Why merge the plugins under one brand
Until now, Advanced Woo Search and Advanced Woo Labels each lived on their own separate sites, with their own identities. That made sense when they were standalone side projects. It makes less sense now that this is a full-time business with more products on the way.
Bringing everything under KramaKit lets me:
- Support you better. One home means one place for documentation, account management, and help - instead of scattered sites and logins.
- Build and launch new products more effectively. A shared brand makes it far easier to introduce new plugins and have existing customers discover them.
- Scale the business sustainably. A single, recognizable brand is the foundation for everything that comes next - bundles, cross-product features, and growth that benefits every customer.
This was a deliberate decision to set things up properly for the long term, for both new and existing users.
What to expect next
Consolidating into one brand isn't the end goal - it's the starting point. You can already browse the full plugin lineup on KramaKit. Here's what's coming:
- New plugins. More WooCommerce tools, built with the same focus on speed, polish, and real-world usefulness.
- Bundles. Smarter ways to get multiple KramaKit plugins together at better value.
- Tighter integration. As the product family grows, the plugins will work better alongside each other.
- More benefits for everyone. New and existing customers alike will see the upside of a unified, actively growing product line.
The rough timeline
- Now - The new KramaKit site is live.
- Until July 2026 - Moving all blog posts from the individual plugin sites over to KramaKit.
- Until September 2026 - Merging all the separate plugin sites into KramaKit, with full redirects in place so existing links keep working. The customer portals will be moved over to KramaKit as well.
- Q3 2026 - A new plugin: Advanced Filters, joining Advanced Woo Search and Advanced Woo Labels in the KramaKit family.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to do anything?
No. There's nothing you need to install, migrate, or change. Your plugins keep working exactly as they do now.
Is my license still valid?
Yes, completely. Your existing license stays valid and active. Nothing needs to be repurchased or re-registered.
Will the plugins be renamed?
The plugins themselves keep the names you know - Advanced Woo Search and Advanced Woo Labels. What's new is that they now sit under the KramaKit brand and live on a single website.
What happens to the old plugin websites?
They're being consolidated into KramaKit in stages: plugin blog posts move over by July 2026, and the sites themselves are merged in by September with full redirects, so all your existing links keep working. The customer portals will move to KramaKit too. Until then, support continues as normal on the current plugin sites.
Where do I get support during the transition?
Exactly where you do today - on the existing plugin sites. Support and the customer portals stay in place until everything moves to KramaKit later this year, and you'll be guided to the new location when that happens. Nothing lapses in between.
Will updates and support continue as before?
Yes. Same update schedule, same support - handled personally by me, just as it always has been.
What's coming next?
New plugins and bundles. The first new product, Advanced Filters, is planned for Q3 2026.
