Hi, I’m Michael - the person behind KramaKit, a set of plugins for WooCommerce stores. I’ve spent the last 12+ years building plugins for WooCommerce and developing other WordPress-related tools.

I work alone on purpose. It keeps things focused: I get to know my customers, read every bug report, and ship updates without a committee. If you’ve ever emailed support, you’ve talked to me.

The journey so far

Twelve years, one craft.

From the first plugin I uploaded to WordPress.org to the studio you see today.

  1. 2013
    First plugin on WordPress.org

Wrote and released my first small WordPress plugin. Almost immediately received positive feedback from customers on the WordPress repository.

  2. 2017
    Advanced Woo Search released

Launched AWS to scratch my own itch - a fast, typo-tolerant search that finds exact needed things. It found its audience quickly.

  3. 2020
    Advanced Woo Labels released

Second flagship plugin - conditional product labels and badges with real customization, not just preset stickers.

  4. 2021
    Crossed 50,000 active installs

Advanced Woo Search became the daily search engine for tens of thousands of stores - the moment I realised plugins could be more than a side project.

  5. 2023
Quit my day job - went full-time on plugins

Left my full-time software developer role to focus on plugins business. Plugins, support and the people who use them became my main work, not the evening side hustle.

  6. 2026
    KramaKit becomes the home base

Decided to bring all plugins together under one brand. Next up: new great products.
